How to build a custom PC DVR?
Ok I want to build a PC for my living room from scratch. I've seem many online tutorials, but they are not really the way it is like to have a Media Center PC. I would have the following features: – Record analogue, digital and HD signals cable, satellite or other TV input source. – Outputs both analog and HD TV. record 2 shows at once. – Be able to play DVDs and burn DVDs (not BluRay interested in, however, too expensive, but maybe in the next 2 years). – Play the surround sound 5.1 or higher (already has a set of speakers Creative, but are connected directly to a PC). You also have the option of sound input from a game console to your PC so you can leave the Speaker Set (this seems to be the hardest part). – Be able to use the Internet, view photos, listen to the network from another PC, connect my ipod, etc. – play the emulator games. Please guide me to the area correct, even if they are buying.
