Do you think that the Playstation 3 is gaining momentum?

Since the launch of the PS3 slim back in September, PS3 sales have more then doubled. Since late last year Playstation has seen some very good exclusives like Killzone 2 and Little Big Planet.
Uncharted 2 just won game of the year 2009, and God of War 3 is coming out in March. Is this just temporary, or is the Playstation 3 finally blossoming into the incredible console we hoped it would become?

yes because sony finally cut the price
and stremalined the whole ps3 line which was horribly confusing
some ps3s played ps2 games some didnt
some had bigger hd newer had smaller hd’s
it was maddening and confusing
they cut the price and all the variations down to a single version and the result is clear the ps3 is in the elevator and going up
is it too little too late ? probably not the ps3 is only 3 years old
the ps2 also had a very shaky start so anything can still happen
