A few questions about the DSi…?
Okay, so right now I am in Japan, and I am debating over getting a Nintendo DSi while I am here or not.
I have the original DS, and I plan on keeping it. I am not worried about losing the GBA slot, because I could always go back to my old DS if I wanted to play a GBA game.
Well, right now I am on an American AF base in Japan, and they have an electronics store. I do not know whether they sell Japanese or American versions of the DSi yet.
So my questions are: Is the DS worth it for someone like me (with an older DS that I am deciding to keep), and should I look out for an American version, or a Japanese version? What are the differences between the two?

if you live in america you need to get the american version. because the dsi is region locked.

It is expected that the new consoles from Nintendo DSi will be one of the best hamdhelds sold in 2009.
