Earning Money?

Hi,

Look. Im tryin to save up for a nintendo wii. If your in ta USA or anywhere lets say there $400. I get $40 a month which will take me to 10months till i get it -_- anyway how can i get money and not by lemonade stands -_- im like 1yr to young for a part time job. Any suggestions?

Ask yourself first if you REALLY WANT a wii first. I hate seeing people buy consoles and just not using it. Check the games that you want and if you only want two games then there’s obviously no point. Also if it’s 400 for a wii [in Australia it's 400 so I doubt it's 400 in US] then you’ll also have to save up for games as well… at 50-100 Australian dollars a pop it’s not cheap at your rate.

If it’s because you’re buying too much other junk then every time you are about to buy junk ask yourself ‘do I really want this?” Else deposit your money in the bank for safe keeping till you have enough.

Everyone else has said blogging but it’ll take you a while to generate a blog that’s worth visiting and then you’ll have to get the word out on it….You’ll have to be a little more practical.

Apart from a job try something a little simpler like a paper route. Carwashes. Walking people’s dogs. The main problem is that you are too young for a job which would become your primary income.

Try asking your mom if you can have one for your bday…. I know it sounds stupid but frankly… it’s worth a shot especially if you say that you’ll pay part of it as well. Parents don’t generally buy their kids consoles because it’s expensive and you’re paying 400 in one shot… but if you let them realise they’re only paying for part of a wii console then it isn’t so bad as well.

See if you can do more chores around the house and make sure that when ya bday or and particular present giving or money based holidays come by that you actually get money or … if your folks and grandparents uncles and aunts know that you want it they’ll probably either pitch in together to buy one for you or else they’ll give you the money to save up for one.

Remember to buy it on sale as well. Usually department stores sell them with free games [usually promo games] in which case the game is not what you want. But sometimes they sell the console on it’s own on special [rarer] which will be about 20-50 dollars off the console.

it’s really good to know that you’re earning the wii on your own either way.
