Final Fantasy: Dissidia is the latest game in the series, although not a traditional game Final Fantasy into the RPG genre. Instead, it is rather a 'Beat' Em Up 'playing style, and features some of the most difficult and most vile characters in the entire series. He was released on the PSP (PlayStation Portable), and more akin to games like Kingdom Hearts than Final Fantasy 7. The reason the game was released in Japan in the months before America was that the translation Dissidia is necessary to convert the script for the English game. This may take several weeks, as many sentences in the game can not be translated word for word, for fear of being out of context.
For a PSP game, it pushes the graphics system at all new level, and is easily the best PSP game on the market. Dissidia translation was required when porting the game over from Japan to Europe and America, and I am happy to say that the game has been translated beautifully. The game is essentially a gigantic battle between good and evil – the protagonist in each game Final Fantasy versus the big bad. I am also pleased to say that the programming of character leaves no one disappointed. Examples of characters include high Squall, Cloud, Sephiroth, Cecil, Kefka, Tidus, Jecht and Zidane Tribal. Each character
It was initially thought that the game is only released in Japan and a Dissidia translation was not on the cards. However, Square Enix has talked about the game as a "thank you to the fans, so they wanted many fans as possible to play it.
