Will Banjo-Kazooie ever be released for the Wii Virtual Console?

I know that Rare owns the game series, and that they make games exclusively for Microsoft at this point, but obviously the first two games were for the N64.
Also, an x-factor is that Nintendo owns the rights to the characters Banjo and Kazooie (I think).
I just don’t know how this will work out.

Nintendo does not own the Banjo-Kazooie characters. They would need permission from Rare to get that game published on the VC, and Rare would need Microsoft’s permission (since MS owns Rare whole).
